Amàlgama Jewels

Amàlgama Jewels is a blend, a fusion, a mixture. It’s about creating rigor and disrupting it with gut feeling, about translating a stream of consciousness, a sensation into matter.

This philosophy is embodied in all jewels created by Giorgia Tasca, Italian-American designer and artist from Vicenza, Italy. Each piece is unique, hand carved and created with lost wax casting, in a process driven by a strong conceptual research and characterized by an aesthetic register that is organic, tactile and bold.

About Giorgia Tasca

Giorgia is an Italian-American designer and artist that lives and works in Vicenza, Italy, the city of excellence for jewelry and architecture.

Giorgia has a humanistic formation and a degree in fashion design from the IUAV university in Venice. Her passion for research and for sculptural shapes mixed together introduced her to the world of jewelry.

After several years consulting as a multi-disciplinary designer and trend forecaster across the US, Europe and Middle East in contact with big luxury brands, Giorgia has a clear idea of what design is to her and understands that it’s only as strong as the depth, values and truths it represents.

With this knowledge, she felt the need to give life to something of her own, something with an expression that had neither boundaries nor compromises.

This is how Amàlgama was born.
